The day you know i know how to crack the WPA

Bypassing the WPA (Windows Activation) on Windows XP Home Edition.

So, the CD key was missing and i was blamed. du lan about being maligned, i was damn fucking determined to find a solution to it without the IT's help because he is damn lazy... remember? all he does is play Maple in his office from 9 - 5



Here it goes:

Click "Run..." on the Start menu, key in "regedit".






By now, you should be in the Registry Editor folder.


Browse through the long list on the left and go to:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\WPAEvents.


Click on "OOBETimer" seen on the right.
whatever the value is, change it to FF D5 71 D6 8B 6A 8D 6F D5 33 93 FD.





After changing the value, right click "WPAEvents" and choose "Permissions..."
under "Advanced Settings", uncheck "Inhereit from parent the permission entries that apply to child objects. Include these with entries explicitly defined here"
when prompted, click on "COPY".


From there, highlight the "SYSTEM" line, and click "Edit".


Deny all options, apply, and run a free copy of Windows.



SO... I MANAGED TO BYPASS OR NOT?!



Damn irritated... after soooo many days, i log into my computer this morning to see a prompt for me to activate my windows which is expiring in 7 days time.
The last time i saw the count down timer was the day i did this crack. and now, all of a sudden it decides to prompt me again.

How can i even activate when now the Activate Windows just refuse to budge when i click on it.

Never mind! we shall see what happens 7 days later.
