Meet the parents session

Just received news that my cousin went into labour on my birthday!!
how can i not be excited?! hahahah...
i'm so dropping by the maternity ward later.
can't wait to see newborns... the tiny, fragile, sweet smelling and cute looking little monsters.

9th October:



Dined at Canto Kitchen on Friday afternoon.
was expecting my parents to come dressed in their normal self but Dad actually made an effort to dressed smart.
and to think Boyfriend was late for his first formal lunch date with my parents!

Main purpose of bringing my parents there, was not purely just to treat them to a "Thank You" meal to show my appreciation for what they've given and done for me for the past 19 years... had wanted to treat my Dad to something good without much hassle.
well, he has got only a few teeth left and is unable to eat much solid food. so the Crab Broth Porridge suits him best.

Also, to show Mum how BIG a small size steamed cod fish head can get. LOL. i am definitely NOT exaggerating. all of them were blown off when the dish was served.


Colleagues surprised me with a Sweet Secret's chocolate cake halfway through lunch.
was really surprised, wasn't expecting a cake / celebration / cake cutting session.
the cake was superb and i like the cake crust most.

Had dinner with Boyfriend's family at Katong later that night.
it was freaking stressful =(


P.S. I am starving and that elephant is still snoring away in bed!!
