the tear was caused by an overheated iron...
searched high and low but couldn't find the same fabric to have the sleeves replaced.
so, left with no other choices... i decided to have the top part of the dress replaced.
although the seamstress promised to try her best to sew the exact design on a new piece of fabric... i shall not be too hopeful.

I spent quite an amount on trying to have it replaced.
now i don't know if that was a smart choice.
The seamstress, seeing me in such a depressed and desperate state... even stroked my face, said that i'm really cute and that it's hard to come by girls like this these days.
yeah, i know so many of you would rather i dump that dress and get a new one right?

Then, i found out from the girls that we are not allowed to buy edibles of any kinds for gift exchange.
WHYYYYYYY?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?!
lao niang bought one freaking big box of edibles leh.
first time play gift exchange la, can't blame right.
The only good thing that has happened recently is that i've finally met up with the girls.
so much fun & laughters.
seriously, the only time i don't feel old / ugly / self-conscious / stupid is when i'm with them...
and that's just what i need! =)
Away on 3 days' leave for my last 2 papers.
