Overdue JB trip post!

Had a really bad experience with a money changer on my first trip to JB. most of the people exchanged SGD$100 for MYR$230, my sis and i decided to be the odd one to change SGD$150 instead. the man actually mistook 3 fifty dollar notes as 2 and we spent the next half an hour or so arguing with him and his supervisor. also, another 2 hours or so waiting for his IT to come over and replay the camera footage to double confirm our claim. grrrr...
so yeah, my first few hours at JB was a really unhappy one, practically cursing and swearing in my heart every single second.

While waiting, we all headed to the basement for lunch. of course i was in no mood to eat, so i just looked on and be polite by munching a little of their share when offered. (but still cursing and swearing!! hahaha)

They had like 871356344 smoke breaks and each time i had to stand around and wait for them, not irritating what!

Finally resting our tired feets at Holiday In after some shopping, and at the same time getting our manicure and pedicure done. that's me falling asleep while the poor manicurist work on my pig leg.



More shopping after our mani/pedi session then headed off to Jusco for dinner. Pictures are not suitable for hungry people!!






when i tried this double boiled soup, i went "we've went through enough hardships in life man, why did you have to go and order such a bitter tasting soup?!?!"

One of the most sinful meals i ever had! most of the dishes there are cooked with lots of chinese herbs and on top of that, each of us had a small pot of sharks' fin soup. not forgetting my favourite cod fish, lots of collagen in it! yums!!!

Proceeded to do more shopping then we rushed back to the custom to catch the last bus!
